20 V-Hawks Earn NAIA Scholar Athlete Honors
CHICAGO, Illinois – The NAIA announced their fall academic honors on Tuesday, November 18th. The fall honors are for men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, and women's volleyball.
The V-Hawks represent 20 of the individuals selected as NAIA Scholar Athletes. To be nominated for this award, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or above in academic standing with a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Students must have attended one full year at the university. The awards are given to outstanding student-athletes.
The V-Hawks were led by the women's soccer team with seven recipients. The women's cross country team added five recipients, while the volleyball and men's soccer team each added three. Men's cross country had two recipients as well.
