Xavier Gilmore Earns Postseason Recognition

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Monday their selections for the 2026 Baseball All-Conference rosters. The CCAC Selects one player in each position to be a part of the “Gold Glove” team as well as a first and second team, each being comprised of 17 individuals. This year, the V-Hawks represent one of the selections.
39 V-Hawk Spring Athletes Earn NAIA Scholar Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Wednesday the individuals that received NAIA Scholar Athlete honors. The honor is defined as a student-athlete that has been enrolled at his or her school for a minimum of one year, that is a member of a varsity team, completed at least 30 semester hours, and boasts no less than a 3.50 cumulative GPA. This award is reserved for outstanding student-athletes in the classroom.
V-Hawks Finish Season With Win Over St. Francis

JOLIET, Ill. -- The V-Hawk baseball team traveled east to Illinois this weekend to face off in their final series of games for the 2026 season. The V-Hawks faced off against the Fighting Saints of St. Francis, dropping three games and winning one. With the loss, the V-Hawks fall to 11-34 overall and 7-25 in the CCAC to end the year.
V-Hawks Claim Pair of Non-Conference Wins

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted the Sabercats of Maranatha Baptist on Tuesday afternoon for their final home double-header of the 2025-26 season. The V-Hawks came away with a pair of victories over the Sabercats. With the wins, the V-Hawks improve to 10-31 on the season.
V-Hawks Drop Full Series to Tigers

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks took to the field on Friday and Saturday for a conference series against the Olivet Nazarene Tigers. Through four games of competition, the V-Hawks dropped all four, playing a couple of close games. With the losses, the V-Hawks fall to 8-31 on the season and 6-22 in the conference. The Tigers improve to 27-19 overall and 23-9 in the CCAC.
V-Hawks Claim Non-Conference Win Over Warriors

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted the Waldorf Warriors on Tuesday in a mid-week non-conference single-game matchup. The competition was the first home competition of the season for the V-Hawks, and they came away with a dominant 15-6 win after nine innings of competition.

WHITING, Ind. -- The V-Hawks traveled east this weekend to face off against the Crimson Wave of Calumet. In their competitions, the V-Hawks came away with two wins and two losses for a series split. With the weekend series, the V-Hawks improve to 7-26 on the season and 6-17 in conference action.

KENOSHA, Wis. -- The V-Hawks took to the field on Monday afternoon to face off against UW-Parkside in a non-conference competition. Through the nine-inning game, the V-Hawks fell 11-4. With the loss, the V-Hawks fall to 5-24 on the season and UW-Parkside improves to 15-14.

FOREST CITY, Iowa -- The V-Hawks traveled west to Iowa on Tuesday afternoon to face off against the Waldorf Warriors for a non-conference matchup. The V-Hawks fell to the Warriors 9-2 through nine innings of play. With the loss, the V-Hawks drop to 4-16 this season with a 3-8 CCAC record.
V-Hawks Go 1-3 in Third Conference Series

ELGIN, Ill. -- The V-Hawks took to the field in Elgin, Illinois this weekend to face off against the Judson Eagles in another CCAC series. The V-Hawks went 1-3 against the Eagles, playing some tough games. Following the weekend, the V-Hawks are now 4-15 overall and 3-8 in CCAC competitions.
Xavier Gilmore earns conference Player of the Week honors

The conference’s weekly honors include the best player of the week as well as the best pitcher of the week. This week, Xavier Gilmore was named as the conference’s Player of the Week after a standout week of performances.
V-Hawks play in second conference competition at Indiana South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The V-Hawk baseball team traveled to South Bend over the weekend to compete in another four-game conference series. The V-Hawks went 1-2 on the weekend, with their final game being postponed due to weather. The team got through two innings before postponing the competition. The V-Hawks drop 3-12 overall and 2-5 in conference competitions.
V-Hawks drop first CCAC Series 3-1 at Trinity Christian

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. -- The V-Hawk baseball team headed to Illinois on Sunday to compete in their first conference competition of the 2026 season. The competition featured a four-game series across two days. Throughout the competitions, the V-Hawks came up short, dropping three of the four games. Despite the losses, the V-Hawks played a very closely-contested series with the Trolls. The V-Hawks drop to 2-10 overall and 1-3 in conference competitions.
V-Hawks win One of Four in Baker Series

BALDWIN CITY, Kansas -- The V-Hawks took a trip south this weekend to Kansas to compete against Baker University in a four-game series. Throughout the series, the V-Hawks were able to pick up one win, dropping three of the games to Baker. With the games, the V-Hawks drop to 1-7 overall this season. Baker improves to 7-3 on the season.
