Bio

Jon Grana begins his tenth year on the coaching staff with Viterbo, his second as Head Coach. He was named the Head Coach of the V-Hawks on June 19, 2024 after serving one year as the Interim Head Coach and seven years as an assistant. 

In his first year as a head coach, Jon Grana was able to lead the V-Hawks to a 24-25 overall record. His 19-13 conference record was the best CCAC record for the V-Hawk baseball program since the 2013-14 season. 

Grana started his college baseball career in Norwalk, CA at Cerritos Community College where he played for Ken Gaylord and was a part of the 2014 Conference Championship Team. Following his time at Cerritos Community College, Grana played two season for the V-Hawks (2014-2016). 

Grana is a native of Downey, CA, where he graduated from Downey High School. He currently resides in La Crosse, WI, and works part-time at Edwards Investments. 

He works primarily with the pitchers and catchers, organizing day-to-day activities, and focusing on player development. Grana graduated from Viterbo with a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communications and a Master's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Leadership.
