V-Hawks Fall to the Jaguars
LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks took to the court on Saturday to face off against the Jaguars of Governors State. The match marked the fourth conference competition for both teams. Following forty minutes of play, the V-Hawks fell to the Jaguars 80-56. The team drops to a 2-7 overall record and an 0-4 record in CCAC play. The Jaguars improve to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in the conference.
Offensively and defensively, the V-Hawks were led by Colin Adams. Adams had the most points on the team with 15 and the most rebounds on the team with eight. Adams also contributed three steals and an assist to the tally. Treyton fletcher added six rebounds and 10 points to the tally as well.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The V-Hawks got an early 7-0 lead with scoring from Treyton Fletcher and Jack Hennessy
- The Jaguars responded with 11 unanswered points

- The Jaguars went on a 17-4 run late in the half
- Some free throws from Jack Voigt and Landon Thousand attempted to cut the lead
- The V-Hawks were down 46-31 going into the second half
- Treyton Fletcher scored four points out of the half
- The two teams went back and forth in scoring
- The V-Hawks cut the lead to ten points at 59-49
- The Jaguars pulled away again on a 19-0 run
- The V-Hawks fell to the Jaguars 80-56
