Bio

Scott Koepnick rejoins the Viterbo Men's Basketball Coaching Staff after a 23 year hiatus. Koepnick is a recent retiree of West Salem High School, where he taught math and computer programming as well as coached basketball. 

Prior to rejoining the V-Hawk Men's Basketball Staff, Koepnick was an assistant boys basketball coach at West Salem for four years, 2021-25, and before that, Koepnick was working as the girls assistant basketball coach at West Salem for ten years, from 2007-2017. 23 years ago, Koepnick was a member of the staff, working as a Viterbo Assistant Men's Basketball Coach from 2000-2002. 

Koepnick also spends his time officiating high school football, basketball, baseball, American Legion baseball, and NCAA Division III College Football. 

Koepnick has four children with his wife Mary. They are Christian, Meagan, Connor, and Carson. He and his wife also have three granddaughters.
