Men’s Bowling Take Third in GLBC #2

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Bowling team competed in the GLBC #2 this past weekend. The V-Hawks varsity finished 3 out of 20 teams with a total of 7805 pins, 3035 from the baker games, while JV placed 5 of 10 with 6738 pins, 2624 from the Baker games.

Alex Glodowski from Marian University took down the highest total of pins at 1090 with an average of 218 pins clinching first place for the individuals.

Brayton Fandrich was the V-Hawks top performer, with a total of 1037 pins over five games for an average of 207.4, placing fourth of 173 bowlers.

Nate Arias would be the next V-Hawk with a 13th finish averaging 199 pins per game (995 total). Mason Barsness averaging 188.4 pins (942 total) took home the 27th place finish, followed by Austin Calmes averaging 182.4 (912 total) in 38th. The fitfth V-Hawk finisher bowling 527 pins over three games, Rylan Schneider. In two games Anthony Pope knocked down 357 pins.

The V-Hawks jv team would bowl with Dyan Sader at the top in 27th overall with 942 pins (averaging 188.4), with Seth Bailey following with 869 pins (173.8 average). Alex Dahlin with 635 pins, over four games, followed by Brandon Kantola knocking 617 pins in four games, The final two finishers for the V-Hawks were Caden Schmitting and Isaiah Ray taking down 596 and 455 pins respectively.

The V-Hawks return to action November 2-3 at the Big Ole Open.
