V-Hawk Men Claim Second at Home Invite, Arias with Individual Win

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted their annual V-Hawk Invitational this weekend at Pla-Mor Lanes in La Crosse. The men hosted several teams at the invitational, and through two days of competition, the men came home with a second place finish. Individually, Nate Arias took home the title, followed closely by teammate Brayton Fandrich. 

Through the competition, the V-Hawks knocked over the most pins, with a final team score of 8216. Wartburg trailed right behind with a total of 7880. The V-Hawks and the Knights of Wartburg faced off in the bracket play championships as the one and two seed, respectively. The V-Hawks fell to the Knights in bracket competition, losing in a best-of-five format.
