V-Hawks Claim Victory, Lowest Score of the Year
ALBERT LEA, Minn. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Minnesota this past weekend to compete in the Waldorf University Fall Invitational. The meet took place at Wedgewood Cove Golf Course. At the end of the round, the V-Hawks second team finished as a co-champion. Their 297-stroke performance was their best of the year so far.
Throughout the meet, JJ Kaczynski and Eli Lindsey had the best scores of the day, each notching 73s during their round. Esdyn Swenby was close behind with a 74. Trevor Hinz and Dalton Collins each added a 75-stroke performance on the day.
After 18 holes, JJ Kaczynski, Eli Lindsey, and Ben Biskupski had the most birdies on the day. They each added four birdies to the tally for the V-Hawks. Overall, between all V-Hawk teams, Viterbo earned 27 birdies.

The V-Hawks return to competition on October 6th and 7th. They will host their home invitational at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska, WI.
