Two V-Hawks Named All-American at National Meet
GAINSVILLE, Fla. – Five V-Hawks competed in the NAIA National Indoor Track and Field Championships, with two earning All-American Honors in the Pole Vault.
Emma Johnson led the V-Hawks in the pole vault, clearing the first four marks without a fault before attempting 3.80m (12'5.5") placing her sixth, being named an All-American.
Olivia Wingo just behind Johnson at 3.70m (12"1.5") with place her in eighth, also being named All-American.
Izzy Keck also participated in the pole vault, taking 15th place with a mark of 3.60m (11'9.75").
On the track Tori Gerber placed 11th with a time of 2:17.76 in the 800m run hitting a personal record.
The final V-Hawk to compete, Avery Poppe placed 30th in the long jump with a mark of 5.23m (17'2").
The V-Hawks ended with 3.5 team points at the national meet.
