Men Open Season at M City Classic and Ripon Winter Open

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., RIPON, Wis. -- The V-Hawks men's indoor track team kicked off their season in Minneapolis at the M City Classic and in Ripon at the Ripon Winter Open. At the M City Class and the Ripon Winter Open, Nathan Schlough and Keenan Hass competed for the V-Hawks. 

Nathan Schlough competed in the 60 meter race, finishing with a 7.39 time at the M City Classic. He improved his time the following day at the Ripon Winter Open, running a 7.36 in the prelims to qualify for the finals. In the finals race, Schlough took seventh. 

Keenan Hass competed in the 60 meter hurdles at the M City Classic, bringing in a time of 9.04s, garnering a 6th place finish. He improved his time substantially the next day, running an 8.75s time in the prelims at the Ripon Winter Open. 

The men finished 9th as a team following all of the events. They will return to competition next year on January 16th and 17th at the St. Olaf Invitational and Multi in Northfield, Minnesota.
