V-Hawks compete at Oshkosh Open

OSHKOSH, Wis. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Oshkosh on Friday to compete in the Oshkosh Open. The V-Hawks competed against runners from UW-Platteville, UW-Whitewater, and UW-Oshkosh, as well as a handful of unattached runners. 

Throughout the 8k course, the V-Hawks were led by sophomore Connor Martin. Connor was the fastest runner of the day for the V-Hawks, racing a 31:12.27. Closely behind Connor was freshman Jake Schradle with a 31:42.27. The final runner of the day for the V-Hawks was senior Andrew Kaja, who raced a 32:51.86 in his 8k contest.

The V-Hawks will return to the course when they compete at the CCAC Championships on Saturday, November 8th. The race is set for 10:30am and will be held at the Aspen Ridge Golf Course in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
