Bio

Katelyn Cruze, a native of Litchfield, Minnesota, comes to Viterbo with a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience. Cruze was a member of the Saint Mary's University women's basketball team in Winona. Under the guidance of coach Jordan Skaar, she competed in four season with the Cardinals, earning recognition as the program's Most Improved Player in 2022-23 and receiving the Cardinal Award in 2023-24 for expemplary leadership an teamwork. Cruze appeared in 77 collegiate games and concluded her career with a 52.1% from the field.

Prior to her time at Saint Mary's, Cruze was a member of the Litchfield High School girls basketball team. 

After graduating from Saint Mary's, Cruze joined Cotter Schools in Winona as an eighth grade social studies teacher. She has contributed to the school's athletic programs there by coaching middle school basketball and softball.
