V-Hawks Compete in Third Conference Competition, Emily Newbauer with All-Tournament
ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The V-Hawk women's team traveled to Rockford, Illinois to compete in the Great Lakes Bowling Conference's third competition of the season. They faced off against nine other teams, taking third place after a successful weekend, falling only to UW-Whitewater Varsity and Rockford University Varsity.
The V-Hawks were led by Emily Newbauer. Her third place finish and 931 total pin score earned her a spot on the All-Tournament team. Newbauer averaged a 186.20 through five games of competition on the weekend. Courtney Keller came in 14th for the V-Hawks with an 861 and Alyssa Newbauer picked up 20th place with an 823. The Laffin brought up 29th place overall and Cierra Bollinger rounded it out for the V-Hawks with a 35th place finish.
As a team, the V-Hawks bowled a team score of 4029 and a Baker of 2774. They knocked 6803 total pins through 41 games to average 165.93 per game over the weekend.
