Three V-Hawks Earn All-Conference Honors

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Following the final conference competition of the season, three V-Hawks were named to the Great Lakes Bowling Conference All-Conference teams. Alyssa Newbauer and Emily Newbauer each earned First Team All-Conference while Courtney Keller was named to Second Team. 

Additionally, Emily Newbauer was named the GLBC Player of the Year and Alyssa Newbauer was named the GLBC Rookie of the Year. 

Emily Newbauer -- Jr., Albertville, Minn. (Player of the Year, First Team) was named to the GLBC First Team for the third time in her career. Emily finished this conference run in first place individually. She knocked a total of 3798 pins, averaging 189.90 per game through 20 games. Emily's next closest opponent was over 300 pins behind her. 

Alyssa Newbauer -- Fr., Albertville, Minn. (Rookie of the Year, First Team) was nemd to the GLBC First Team for the first time in her career. Through four GLBC competitions, the freshman earned second place individually with a total of 3485 pins for an average of 174.25. Alyssa beat the nearest opponent by 13 pins. 

Courtney Keller -- Jr., Tomah, Wis. (Second Team) was named to the GLBC Second Team for the first time in her career. Through the four competitions, Keller was able to maintain ninth place overall. She averaged a 168.90 pin count in the conference after 20 games of competition. 

The bowlers will return to action on Saturday, February 14th for their home competition.
