4x100 Relay Qualifies at Uncaged Eagle

LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Viterbo University Women's Track and Field Team competed in the UW-La Crosse Uncaged Eagle on Friday afternoon.
Leading the V-Hawks with an NAIA B Standard performance was the 4x100m relay team of Lillia Chvatal, Olivia Wingo, Avery Poppe, and Braylee Hyatt with a time of 47.10 claiming fifth place.
Tori Gerber would dominate with a time of 18:15.57 for a first place finish in the 5,000m run. While Lainey Teynor would place seventh in the 400m at 1:00.85 Emily Ludwig and Emma Johnson would place sixth and eighth in the 100m hurdles with times of 14.29 and 14.59 respectively.
Johnson in the field would also lead with a sixth place finish in the pole vault at 3.70m (12-01.5) hitting another National B Standard. In the triple jump Rhianna Robinson would reach a distance of 11.13m (36-06.25) for sixth place. The final top V-Hawk finisher in the field was Martina McGrath in the Javelin with a throw of 33.33m (109-04) placing eighth.
The V-Hawks return to action on May 21st for the NAIA National Championships.
