McCabe Named NSAA Defender of the Week
BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has announced the 11th edition of their Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, and Viterbo's Kenidi McCabe has been selected as the conference Defender of the Week. This is her third time earning the award this year.
McCabe, a Decorah, Iowa native, recorded 62 total digs as the fifth ranked V-Hawks went 1-1 last week. On the road at defending national champions #12 Jamestown (ND), McCabe posted 24 digs and 37 receptions with only a single error. In a five-set win at Mayville State (ND), she added 38 digs as the V-Hawks clinched the regular season conference title. On the week, she totaled 6.9 digs/set, registered 68 receptions, and added 10 assists.
The V-Hawks, led by McCabe, return to action on Friday, November 3 as they host Dickinson State (ND).
