Mitchell Named National Attacker of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has officially announced its latest edition of their National Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, and Viterbo's Jada Mitchell has been selected as the National Attacker of the Week. This is her first time earning the award.

Mitchell helped lead the V-Hawks in a 3-0 week, with wins over Calumet (Ind.), where she dominated with 17 kills across three sets, Indiana Northwest, and Saint Xavier. On the week she recorded 47 kills with a .540 hitting percentage, committing only one error over three matches.

Mitchell is the first V-Hawk to be named attacker of the week since Kenzie Winker in 2023.

Viterbo returns to the court Wednesday, October 23 as they host Governors State University.
