Jada Mitchell Earns All-American Honors For Fourth Consecutive Year

LEXINGTON, Kentucky – The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Tuesday their NAIA All-American selections. This year, the AVCA selected 14 players for the first, second, and third teams, representing those individuals that play at the highest level. Jada Mitchell, a senior middle, was named to the All-American Second Team.

Mitchell's nod as an All-American is the fourth year in a row that she has been named as an All-American. She was named to the second team in 2022, 2023, and 2024 as well. Mitchell earns her All-American award after another consecutive standout season in the V-Hawk uniform.

The senior tallied 320 kills throughout the year on a 0.378 hitting percentage. Defensively, Mitchell earned a total of 165 blocks, averaging to 1.32 blocks per set, and landing her a spot as the career blocks record-holder at Viterbo.

Also this year, Mitchell earned a spot on the conference's first team, was named the conference's player of the year, and earned a first team All-Region nod from the AVCA as well. Jada Mitchell's legacy will live on at Viterbo forever.

Through Mitchell's career, she tallied over 1400 kills and ended her career with 576 blocks. She hit at a clip of 0.362 during her time at Viterbo.

Mitchell graduated from Viterbo University this past weekend on Saturday, December 13th.
