V-Hawks fall to St. Ambrose to close 2025 Season

DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The V-Hawks traveled to Iowa to compete in the first round of the CCAC tournament. After 90 minutes of competition, the V-Hawks fell to the Fighting Bees 2-1. The match marks the final game for the V-Hawks in the 2025 season. 

The Fighting Bees scored their goals at the 14 minute and 30 minute mark. The V-Hawks responded with a goal at 50 minutes by Brynlee Kelly, assisted by Paxten Bristol, but they couldn't quite get back with a final score. The V-Hawks were out-shot by the Fighting Bees 21-7. Defensively, Erin Brooks picked up nine saves while the Bees only added five. The V-Hawks took four corner kicks to the Bees' eight. 

The V-Hawks finish their season with an 8-7 record, their best win percentage in recent years.
